Plans for Sept.12-16

Hi Parents
    I think Grandparents Day was a great success! I want to thank you
all for your help! We enjoyed having the grandparents visit and the
children did a fantastic job singing! It was a fun day for everyone!

Plans for the upcoming week:

Bible-Proverbs 3, verses 5-6 due Friday the 16th.
         "Trust in the Lord with all your heart
           and lean not on your own understanding;
           in all your ways acknowledge him,
           and he will make your paths straight.

Reading-"Gloria and Martha" pages 96-103
               "Hippos" on pages 104-107
Skills-Fantasy and Realism, synonyms and comprehension

Language-Pages 68-69, writing a personal narrative.

Spelling-Pages 42-47, words with long and short vowels.

Math-Pages 51-62 on place value.

Science-Pages 114-123 on Plants.

Social Studies-Pages 24-39 on country, state and cities.
